TENCEL™ Modal is a type of fabric made from cellulose extracted from wood, typically from sustainably sourced trees. The wood is processed into pulp, then transformed into fibers through an advanced, controlled manufacturing process that regenerates natural cellulose into a soft textile fiber.

Unlike generic modal, TENCEL™ Modal is produced using resource-efficient technology with high recovery of chemicals, meaning most of the materials used in production are reused rather than wasted. This results in a fiber that blends the feel of natural materials with the consistency and performance of engineered textiles.
